- Dear Collective:
-
- I am a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in data
- acquisition and some relatively straight foreward control programming.
- My prefered environment is National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, which is
- a C based language with all of the really hard core C++ aspects
- simplified. My next task is to implement some real time control using
- MS Visual C++ 2.0 for a manufacturing control project. I have people
- around to guide me through the really difficult aspects of this, but I
- don't want to burden them too much... I would like to begin by reading
- some books on this topic. Hopefully with a hands on approach and lots of
- examples. I would also like to attend some advanced training on this
- topic as soon as I am capable. Could anyone out there suggest books or
- classes as mentioned above?
